More than 50 scientists from all partner institutes and universities were attending. \u00a0In a first introduction the Principle Investigator Prof. Dr. Alberto Moreira and the Scientific Coordinator Prof. Dr. Irena Hajnsek gave an overview of the goals and strategic direction of the project. Subsequently, the speakers of the research topics bio-, geo-, hydro-, and cryosphere introduced the substantive aspects and tasks within their topics.
